My name is Carla Voorhees. I am an exciting mix of skills, talent and experience. I bring analytical thinking, understanding of financial and operational strategy, visualization & design, and technical savvy to the business world. I have an understanding and appreciation of problems and innovative solutions, have worked with a remote team in India, completed a full time MBA program in San Francisco while living in Washington, DC, and have traveled extensively in Europe.

I believe that the best solutions come from listening to the problem, and understanding the needs of the end users. I love analyzing data, conducting interviews, and taking a deep dive into the minds of users.

I hold an MBA in Design Strategy from the California College of the Arts. Previously, I have completed a Bachelor of Science at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY USA, and studied abroad twice, first in Prague, Czech Republic (Spring 2005) and then in Budapest, Hungary (Summer 2006).

The MBA in Design Strategy program seeks to prepare students to become next generation leaders using the principles of design thinking. By combining design, finance, entrepreneurship, sustainability and strategy, the program gives students the tools to tackle hard problems with sustainable, ethical, and innovative solutions.
